Things may be a little different when you return so we wanted to let you know what will be in place for your visit.

The health and wellbeing of all our customers, staff and the events we host is our absolute priority at Sheffield City Trust (SCT)

Our Entertainment venues at the Sheffield City Hall & Utilita Arena Sheffield are now open.
The health and wellbeing of all our customers, staff, promoters, event organisers, acts and the events we host continues to be our absolute priority at SCT.
We are playing our part to ensure that everyone continues to be able to enjoy our shows and events by continuing with the following Covid-19 requirements:
Customers may still be asked to show evidence of Covid status - this can include:
*A negative Lateral flow or PCR test result
*Proof of double vaccination
*Proof of natural immunity through previously having Covid (in the past 6 months).
Acceptable forms of proof are:
*NHS Covid Pass on the NHS App – click here for instructions on how to download your NHS Covid pass from the NHS APP
*NHS Covid Pass letter from NHS – click here for instructions on how to obtain your NHS Covid pass letter or by calling NHS 119
*Negative Lateral flow or PCR test result text or email (dated within 24 hours of event date).
*Self-declared exemptions will be permitted
Please do not bring the Lateral Flow home test strip with you.
Follow these instructions for what you need to do:
You must report your COVID-19 NHS Rapid Lateral Flow Test result online, by visiting: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result.
If you do not have access to the internet, you can also report your test result by calling the phone number in your test kit’s instructions, NHS 119 (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or Scotland 0300 303 2713.
You will need to demonstrate your negative NHS Lateral Flow Test result by showing us one of the following:
Text OR email confirmation of your result
OR by using the NHS COVID Pass, available through the NHS App
OR as a letter that can be requested by ringing NHS 119 (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) or Scotland 0300 303 2713
Free at home rapid lateral flow tests are available via the NHS and at most chemists.
The closest chemist location to Utilita Arena Sheffield is;
2 York Rd, Darnall, Sheffield S9 5DH
Open 8am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 9am to 7pm on Sundays.
Please check with the pharmacy directly.
Failure to be able to produce certification when required could result in entry to the venue being refused. Under 18's do not need to show the COVID Pass or show proof as advised by the NHS, but are still encouraged to test prior to the event.
To further reduce the risk for all event-goers, please take a lateral flow or PCR test before attending an event.
If you feel unwell or have symptoms; please DO NOT attend our venues. - Stay at home and follow NHS guidelines.
As a venue operator we have a responsibility to keep everyone who uses our venues as safe as possible by mitigating coronavirus risks in our venues.
Following the latest government briefings and guidance many legal restrictions have now been removed with a Plan A and Plan B winter strategy, which mean things may be a little different when you return.
Our procedures will continue to evolve, be reviewed and updated as guidance and law changes.
SCT is entitled to make such changes from time to time to its T&C's of entry, as it considers necessary. The changes will apply to all ticket holders, please continue to check back to this page before your visit in case any of the guidance has changed.
We continue to work with event organisers, promoters and the National Arenas Association on entry requirements to our venues and will update our advice as required. As with all guidance there are exceptions such as those who are medically exempt from vaccination.
Despite the most recent announcements the Government is still encouraging the indoor entertainment sector to have a system in place to check the Covid status of audiences attending our venues. There may also be specific entry requirements requested on events and concerts as requested by the promoter, act or artist.
COVID Status spot checks will be in place and customers may still be asked to show evidence of Covid status.

All legal limits on the numbers of people allowed to meet indoors have now been removed and our venues will be operating at full capacity and without social distancing in place. We are asking everyone to respect other visitors, keeping your distance where you can and appreciating, we are all at different stages of comfort as the vaccinations and easing of restrictions are rolled out, so some people may still be apprehensive.
We have enhanced all cleaning regimes before, during and post event, sanitising all surfaces throughout the venues using long lasting cleaning solutions to reduce the risk of contact infection.
NHS Test and Trace QR code will remain available for optional use.
We recommend the following steps are taken by all visitors:
*Please respect other visitors; keeping your distance where possible and understanding others’ concerns regarding Covid-19 may be different to your own.
*Continue to wear a face covering in busy, communal areas such as corridors and concourses, if you are willing to do so.
*Continue to check in with NHS Test and Trace (QR codes will remain visible in the venue)
*Our staff will continue to wear face coverings and we ask everyone to respect those choosing to do so.
*Regularly wash/sanitise your hands. Hand sanitising stations will be available throughout our venues.
*Use digital ticketing where possible to reduce social contact.
*Use contactless payments where possible.
As part of covid mitigation Digital Tickets will be the new way to access the venue - you must have your tickets already downloaded to your phone before you try to access the venue. Any tickets purchased for a group needs to have shared their ticket prior to entering the venue as each person needs their entry ticket, this us particularly important for floor access on standing shows. If you have already received physical tickets these will give you access to the venue and you are not required to download anything.
Above all we would like to say a huge thank you to all customers and staff for their support over the very challenging past 18 months and your future support in acting repsonsibly and considerate to visitors and staff and understand they may have different requirements to your own - this way we hope to help keep each other safe and our venues open.

Should you have any questions about your tickets or the show you are attending here at the Arena there is further information below with more information in our FAQ’s - this page will be updated as soon as anything changes so please keep checking back.
The Arena is an authorised ticket agent and a member of The Society of Ticket Agents & Retailer STAR should any of our shows cancel or be rescheduled we will refund ticket money and any pre-booked parking. If you booked tickets through another authorised agent they will also refund ticket money, please check with the retailer you booked with for their procedures. This refund policy is now more important then ever and why it is crucial to protect yourself and your ticket money and why we only recommend you only ever book with authorised retailers - if a show is cancelled you will get your money back on tickets booked through these retailers.
If you booked tickets with the Arena and your event is cancelled:- You don't need to do anything all ticket, booking fees & any pre-paid parking money will be automatically refunded to the card on which you purchased your tickets with.
If you booked tickets with the Arena and your event is rescheduled:- If you still wish to attend the new date simply turn up and your tickets will be valid and you don't need to do anything. Should you be unable to attend the rescheduled show you can either email firstname.lastname@example.org stating your booking reference number & your latest contact details and the Arena Box Office can start the refund process on your behalf & contact you if there are any issues. Alternatively you can refund your own booking which will instanlty give you a ticket voucher back to your account redeemable against any future TM booking for shows at the Arena or Sheffield City Hall - click here for further details.
