Sheffield’s Rock N Roll Circus Festival has just unveiled its final headliner for 2025, with The Wombats set to take the Big Top stage on Friday, 29 August. This announcement completes an already huge line-up for the festival’s most ambitious edition yet, running from Wednesday 27th – Sunday 31st August 2025 at Don Valley Bowl.

The Wombats Join an Incredible Line-Up

The Liverpool indie icons will bring their infectious anthems and electrifying live show to Sheffield, joined by an incredible Friday night bill including:

  • Circa Waves
  • Somebody’s Child
  • The Rosadocs
  • Freddie Halkon
  • Bethany Grace
  • Deco
  • Crystal Tides

The Wombats, known for hits like “Let’s Dance to Joy Division,” “Moving to New York,” and “Greek Tragedy”, have been festival favourites for over two decades. Their upcoming album "Oh! The Ocean" ensures their set will be packed with both nostalgic anthems and fresh new sounds.

A Line-Up Like No Other

With Queens of the Stone Age headlining the opening night on Wednesday, 27 August, alongside Viagra Boys, Fat Dog, The Bug Club, and So Good, and an extra date added on Thursday, 28 August, the festival is kicking off in legendary fashion.

On Saturday 30 August, Reverend and The Makers lead an eclectic line-up, featuring:

  • Peter Doherty & Carl Barat (The Libertines)
  • Lottery Winners
  • Everly Pregnant Brothers

The festival closes in style on Sunday, 31 August with James headlining, fresh from their sell-out orchestral tour and over 40 years in music. The Manchester legends will be joined by:

  • Cast
  • Sleeper
  • The Lilacs
  • Girlband
