Premier League Darts Rescheduled to 12 May 2022

The annual visit of Premier League darts to Utilita Arena Sheffield has been postponed until May 12 2022.

Sheffield was again set to be one of the destinations on this year's four-month Premier League tour, which features the likes of Michael van Gerwen, Peter Wright, reigning champion Glen Durrant and new World Champion Gerwyn Price.

The PDC have now confirmed this year's planned visit to Sheffield will now not take place as planned due to ongoing restrictions, which mean that at least half of this year's event will be held behind closed doors in April.

However, next year's schedule has been confirmed, with Utilita Arena Sheffield set to host the 15th league night on Thursday May 12 2022.

Sheffield has been a huge success since being added to the Premier League circuit in 2007, and regularly attracts huge crowd as the world's top darts stars visit Yorkshire.

Existing ticket bookings for the 2020/2021 Premier League nights at Utilita Arena Sheffield will be moved to the 2022 event, or fans can request a refund from the Box Office where they made their purchase.
