Netflix has bought the rights to stream Ricky Gervais’ next tour before it’s even started.
Gervais will tour the new show, titled ‘Legend’, from autumn 2026 through to the end of 2027, when it will be filmed and become his fifth in a string of globally successful Netflix specials.
Gervais today announces the first set of UK shows on the new Legend tour, from September – December 2026, with the tour then set to travel the globe throughout 2027, visiting the biggest arenas across the UK, Europe and North America.
Gervais’ four previous tours Humanity, Supernature, Armageddon and Mortality all broke box office records and topped the Netflix charts upon release. Armageddon and Mortality both won Ricky a Golden Globe for ‘Stand-Up Comedy on Television’, in 2024 and 2026 respectively.
