Utilita Arena Sheffield is proud to partner with Hospitality Action to launch Invisible Chips, a simple but impactful initiative helping hospitality workers facing hardship across the UK.

Launching ahead of Peter Kay’s upcoming show on 20 June 2026, guests visiting the Arena will have the option to add a portion of Invisible Chips to their order for £2.50, with proceeds going directly to Hospitality Action.

What Are Invisible Chips?

Invisible Chips are exactly what they sound like, a portion of chips that doesn’t actually exist.

They contain 0% fat, 0 calories and 100% charity.

By choosing to add Invisible Chips to your food order, you’ll be making a small donation that can have a meaningful impact on the lives of hospitality workers and their families who may be struggling financially or facing physical or mental health challenges.

Simple, effective and easy to support, every portion sold helps provide vital assistance to people working in the hospitality industry.

Supporting the People Behind Hospitality

For more than 185 years, Hospitality Action has supported people working across the UK hospitality sector.

Since 2020, the charity has awarded over £4 million in grants to more than 12,500 hospitality households, helping those facing financial hardship, illness or mental health challenges. The charity also provides mental health support, advice and a 24/7 helpline for hospitality workers across the country.

As a venue built on delivering unforgettable live experiences, Utilita Arena Sheffield recognises the dedication and hard work of the hospitality teams who help make every event possible.

A Small Gesture, A Big Difference

Utilita Arena Sheffield said:

“We’re always looking for ways to make a positive difference in our community. By supporting Invisible Chips, we’re giving our guests a simple opportunity to help Hospitality Action provide vital support to hospitality people facing hardship. While they may not fill your plate, Invisible Chips are a small gesture that can make a big difference.”

The initiative will be promoted across the Arena’s food and beverage outlets, as well as on digital screens throughout the venue, helping raise both funds and awareness for this important cause.

Next time you visit Utilita Arena Sheffield, why not add a portion of Invisible Chips to your order?

Because sometimes buying nothing can change everything.
