Utilita Arena Sheffield once again played host to an unforgettable night of strength, power and atmosphere as Britain’s Strongest Man 2026 returned on Saturday 7 February, and the arena delivered in style.

In front of a roaring Sheffield crowd, Tom Stoltman produced a dominant performance to claim the title, moving within touching distance of Eddie Hall’s record five wins. Winning two of the five events and never finishing outside the top three, the “Invergordon Goliath” proved why he remains one of the most formidable forces in world strongman.

The atmosphere inside the arena was electric as 12 elite athletes battled it out across iconic events including the Circus Press, Bag Toss, Car Walk and Power Stairs, with fans creating a wall of noise from start to finish.

The evening was also a deeply emotional one, as athletes and fans came together to remember the late Pa O’Dwyer, with a moving minute of applause inside the arena, a powerful reminder of the camaraderie and respect that defines the Strongman world.

Behind Stoltman, the fight for the remaining podium spots was fierce. Adam Bishop produced a superb performance to finish runner-up, while Paddy Haynes secured his first-ever Britain’s Strongest Man podium in third after an impressive showing across the night.

With current champions from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland all competing, this was one of the strongest line-ups ever seen at the Arena – and the Sheffield crowd witnessed some truly world-class performances.
