Customers attending Gladiators at Utilita Arena Sheffield this evening (Wednesday, 29 July) are advised to expect delays when leaving the venue due to planned road closures in the surrounding area.
South Yorkshire Police will be escorting an abnormal load carrying components for Sheffield Forgemasters through the area between approximately 8:30pm and 9:00pm. As part of the operation, there will be temporary road closures around Arena Square, Carbrook Street and surrounding roads, which may result in delays when exiting the Arena.
The road closures are expected to last for around 15–20 minutes, although traffic may take longer to return to normal.
Curfew for the event is expected to be approximately 8:30pm, so please expect and do what you can to plan for delays.
