Utilita Arena Sheffield is delighted to welcome Young Voices back once again, as they celebrate an incredible 30th anniversary year, marking three decades of inspiring children through the power of music.

As the proud host of the largest children’s choir concerts in the world, Young Voices brings together thousands of primary school children from across the UK for an unforgettable live experience. Each performance fills the Arena with energy, emotion and sound, creating moments that stay with young performers, teachers, families and audiences long after the final note.

These extraordinary concerts are about far more than singing. They help children find their voices, build confidence, work as part of a team and experience the thrill of performing on one of the UK’s biggest stages, often for the very first time. For many, it sparks a lifelong love of music and live performance.

To mark this milestone year, Utilita Arena Sheffield is proud to present Young Voices with a Made of Steel Star Award, recognising their outstanding contribution to live music, education and the city’s event calendar over many years. Their return continues a special relationship between the Arena, the schools involved and the wider Sheffield community.

David Lawrence, Conductor, on behalf of Young Voices, said:

“The welcome we receive in Sheffield is always exceptional, and the energy, commitment and sheer joy of the young singers from across the north of England never fails to lift the Young Voices concert to another level. Thirty years on, Young Voices continues to prove that when you put belief, ambition and music into the hands of children, extraordinary things happen. The concerts keep getting bigger, brighter and bolder because the students turn up and give absolutely everything they’ve got, standing in the middle of that sound never gets old for me. The continued success of Young Voices is entirely down to the students, local communities, and this incredible venue and its team who bring it to life year after year."

We’re incredibly proud to welcome Young Voices back to Utilita Arena Sheffield and to celebrate a truly special anniversary with thousands of young performers who remind us just how powerful live music can be.
